Passable massage but lack of care and communication

点评：It was not explained fully that I could take a robe for my treatment the following morning, before the end of my stay at the hotel. So when I arrived for the treatment 15 minutes beforehand as requested, I was surprised that the receptionist dismissed my request to put on the robe, ready for the treatment. As I was waiting, I stood near the receptionist trying some different Elemis products, and was disturbed to hear both of the therapists whispering to each other. This did not instil confidence in having the treatment. When the therapist notified me to enter the room for the session, I asked if her name was Jamie as I was informed that she would be my therapist. However, when I asked her, she said her name was Taylar. Her approach was clinical yet she made no reference to the questionnaire I was asked to complete beforehand nor offered any general introductory chat. I was also disappointed that when I asked which oils would be used, she simply replied ‘grapeseed oil’. I said I thought some essential oils might also be used, with no response. I felt fairly relaxed during the back massage despite my initial reservations but noticed that she ended the session a few minutes early.
