点评：I booked this spa and golf break as a present for my husband as he loved the golf and a bonus I got a spa day! Well the golf apparently was very much enjoyed by my husband. My spa however was very disappointing, my 50 minute treatment was the best part. The spa itself really isn’t up to much apart from a standard pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The changing rooms were dirty and lots of broken lockers. Our room was ok apart from the bathroom. We had a separate bath to the shower which is nice however the bath, shower and the sink didn’t drain the water so you had to wait ages for any water to drain away. My husband made the stupid mistake of lifting the shower plug up and was almost sick with what he saw. The outside of the shower clearly doesn’t get cleaned as it had masses of dirt build up. The whole hotel seems extremely tired and in need of a refurb.
I used the downstairs toilets on two occasions and on both, I was horrified to find the state of them. Clearly not cleaned and checked at all.
The evening meal was nice however we were not asked once if anyone had any allergies. On ordering the dessert I double checked with the staff that no chocolate was on it, only for it to come out minutes later with chocolate all over the plate. The food is fresh but you don’t get 5 minutes between each course so it felt extremely rushed.
Would I return, not really.
