点评：I stayed in Venice for two nights and almost did not come to this beach. The reason for this is because Venice Beach had so much seaweed. I just assumed Nokomis would too. It had a little bit, but the shell hunting was so much easier at this beach today. I wish I had come earlier this morning or yesterday. It is a short drive from Venice. It took me less than 10 minutes to get there. I was only there for an hour because I had to travel home, but there are plenty of shells that wash up on the shore as you’re standing there. It’s easier to have shelling tools, and I did not have those. There is a place in the pavilion that sells food and drink as well as some souvenirs including shelling tools, but the scooper they were selling was $30. For a small scooper. The hotel I stayed out in Venice provided all of that but as I said, I was headed home so I didn’t have anything with it including a chair or I would spend more time at the beach. I have been in Nokomis before and enjoyed it very much. The earlier you get there the better parking place you will have, but there is quite a bit of parking.
