It was the first time she had ever helped me, and from the moment the interaction started, her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. What shocked me even more was the way she spoke to the tour guides who bring guests to Tokara — as if they were unimportant and beneath her. That kind of disrespect is unacceptable anywhere, but especially in a place built on hospitality and reputation.
I visit Tokara often because I value the quality and warmth I’ve always received. This experience, however, stood in stark contrast to what I’ve come to expect. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because behaviour like this can quickly tarnish the good name Tokara has built over the years.
