点评：This is the first time we have done a canal holiday we had a week country craft from when we turned up were very helpful the tuition is hands on and you are taken through upto three locks if you need it which we did and then you are let loose TOP TIPS after locks moore up have a cuppa and discuss what just happened rhere is a lot going on go slower than you think when going under a bridge, the same when a boat is coming the other way, use the poles to turn much eaiser than the engine , when you get stuck one at the front with a pole and one at back works best to push you out and off its easier than it sounds.
The boat was the country girl 45ft very well presented and very comftable for the two of us and had everthing we needed 45ft is the right size for this canal DONT go bigger it just makes things harder it took us the first day and some of the next to settle in after that things settled down and we had a system in place it is a unique holiday hands on and like camping but more comftable and very very rewarding we found 3 or 4 hours motoring then lunch and a walk and then pub worked best although we did do 6 hours one day which was fine we would most deffinatley use country craft again great boat great holiday
