Great mall just abit far from city centre

点评：This huge mall is located about 20-30 minutes by bus from Hakata station. Like any other mega mall, it’s filled with tons of shops to satisfy any shopaholic and houses plenty of F&B options. One of the biggest draw apart from the giant moving Gundam which puts on a short performance hourly is the supermarket at level 1 which offers loads of local specialty snacks, fresh produces and groceries.
Another plus about the place is that it’s spacious and actually very family oriented. Aside from having one level of the mall dedicated to entertaining people of different ages like a cinema, the Gundam theme shop and huge play zone filled with claw machines and arcade games. They did not forget to design the place to also be functional for the family by including plenty of comfortable seats, wide walkways and nice comfortable family rooms.
But despite all the positive points it’s still a mall. For anyone with limited time or not a big Gundam fan, perhaps making a journey to Lalaport may not be necessary as one can easily gets similar shopping experiences closer to town at Tenjin area or visit another mega mall like Canal City Hakata which also has its own Gundam theme shop.
