点评：The day trip to Green Island with Great Adventures was, unfortunately, a bit of a mixed experience.
The island itself is beautiful, and the snorkeling was lovely, with plenty of fish to see. However, it was extremely busy and overcrowded at different parts of the day, which took away from the experience. It was also quite sad to see areas of dead coral, although with the volume of tourists, and people standing on the coral, it’s perhaps not surprising.
For the price we paid ($346) for 2 adults and 2 children), I expected better value. We chose the snorkeling package and assumed stinger suits would be included, but only masks, snorkels and flippers were provided. Stinger suits were an extra $16 each, and if you needed a prescription mask, that was another $8. The snorkeling equipment we received was also not in the best condition.
Food and extras on the island were very expensive $20 for children’s nuggets and chips, for example. To top it off, even simple lounge chairs (including the only undercover beach seating) came at an additional cost, which was surprising at $50 for two chairs.
Overall, it felt very touristy, overcrowded, and overpriced for what was included. It’s a beautiful spot with so much potential, but unfortunately I wouldn’t return.
