An unforgettable experience from a local perspective

点评：I'm a local conservationist who works on KI with marine mammals, and I was blown away by this tour. You can’t access the stunning coves, cliffs, and wildlife hotspots without a boat on the north of KI, so it was very special.
Phil and Ro’s knowledge and passion made this tour so much more than sightseeing. They shared their backyard and told stories that connected with the landscape and the animals we encountered. It was a nice balance of education, storytelling, elation when spotting wildlife, peaceful moments bobbing near the rocks, and speedboat cruising beside the cliffs. Their insights into local marine issues such as the current harmful algal bloom showed how connected they are to the environment.
We saw sea lions, dolphins, and raptors, and were able to help with wildlife surveys. Morning tea was freshly baked by Ro, and I particularly enjoyed sipping pomegranate tea from a reusable flask while floating near the seals hauling on the nearby rocks.
I'd recommend this tour to anyone who loves wild places and meaningful experiences.
