A brilliant way to spend an afternoon, great people and delicious gins and rums!

点评：We’d already visited for the Tour and Tasting and had such a great time learning about gin and the Henley Distillery, how it began and all the incredible awards they have won, not to mention tasting their delicious gins and rums. So, we decided to return for the Gin Making Experience yesterday. Absolutely brilliant! It was great to hear their story again and taste all the gins (they really are good!) but then we had the chance to make our own! We had our own little stills and were helped to choose different botanicals to suit our tastes by our fabulous, friendly hosts Matt and Katie. While our gins were bubbling away, we had cocktails, tried the rums (yes, I did buy some more spiced rum. And the white rum. And the classic gin….) and had a G&T made with our own gin. Everyone tried everyone else’s and we decided we were all master distillers by this point (!). At the end of the afternoon which went by so quickly, it was so much fun, we all left with a bottle of our creations. We can order more too as they keep our exact recipes.
This was a lovely treat on a grey winter afternoon, we met fantastic people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommended and a great birthday/ Christmas present. I expect we’ll be back for another tasting in the spring - it’s that good!
