Expansive art collection but a disorienting layout

点评：The museum has an expansive almost overwhelming amount of art from all periods as well as Nordic historical items across the years. I thought the museum had an odd layout that made it confusing to visit the different rooms. They don’t all link together so you end up walking around and backtracking. Another irritating issue is they do not ban making phone calls. So I encountered numerous tourists with their cell phone ringers on full blast that they then answered and put on speakerphone and held a conversation! It was both American and French tourists who did this oblivious to the fact they would be disrupting other people in the museum. With the amount of oversight by various museum people - and they were plentiful and circulating constantly - they should put a stop to this nonsensical and ill mannered behavior.
They did have on display some interesting art from Munch, Cezanne, Picasso, Rodin and many others. Clearly a collection worth seeing but plan your day accordingly - the layout will make you spend hours here to see everything.
