Disgusting animal and barn viewing areas

点评：I am 77 years old and I booked myself and my daughter for a hayride tour on Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2024. We arrived at least 20 ahead as instructed (15 minutes). We waited and waited and finally the haywagon came at 11:20. It was overbooked, so we had to wait for it to transport part of the group and then come back for the rest, about 12 people. When we got to the calves area, we were disgusted by the filth and condition of one animal especially, laying curled up and shaking.For one tour of the day, I would have thought that they would have laid down mor hay to walk on among the little huts, so we would be walking in their feces. Same thing in the barn. I would think you would clean off the area where people are walking. My daughter and I were so disgusted that we left the barn and walked back along the road to get our car. Needless to say, it was a terrible experience. I am asking for a refund, but I doubt that they would accommodate that request. The photos do not depict well the filthy conditions
We both have been to dairy farms in PA, MD and VT. They were all very neat and great experiences. This place doesn't begin to even come close to matching them.
