点评：Yardimli Waterfall or Tekdam Waterfall – is located in the Peshtesar mountain range, within the Vilash River basin, at the 27th kilometer of the Masalli–Yardimli road. The waterfall consists of two tiers, cascading from a height of 34 meters. During the Soviet era, the only guard hut in the mountainous and forested area of Yardimli was built next to the waterfall, and therefore the place came to be called “Tek Dam” (“single roof”). Since then, the waterfall has retained the name “Tek Dam.”
The waterfall is especially abundant and powerful in the winter months, while in summer its water flow decreases somewhat. From a geographical perspective, the area where the waterfall is located holds significant strategic importance. Situated at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, this area has been used as a guard post at various times throughout history.
