点评：The collection of retro hardware is quite simply outstanding!
We (family) were met and welcomed by Holly, one of the Directors, and along with other staff and volunteers shown around the extensive range of retro 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit and some 64-bit computers in ‘The Cave’. Lots of the equipment is operational and you are encouraged to go play!
In another part of the site, there is a retro arcade hall with free to play arcade machines hosting many familiar games such as Lemmings, Galaxian, Street Fighter, R-Type and many more arcade versions of popular home computer games from the late 70’s, the 80’s and 90’s.
This venue isn’t just a museum: the team are working hard to repair, renovate and keep this items of technological history in tip-top condition.
Well worth a visit for those who remember these machines firsthand and for those to understand the basis of our modern tech.
