Nice but River Views Obstructed
Centennial Waterfront Park的点评
点评：For Picnics and Boating. Small pretty park at bottom of the canyon. Google maps was confused so took us a bit to find. Around a switchback, at the Centennial Park sign, there’s a sign that says parking in a gravel area but drive into that, and there is a paved street directly to your left going down to the park with paved parking. Nice boat launch with floating docks. Some muck and debris around inner slips. Separate area where kayaks were launched. Large covered pavilion with several picnic tables, playground, nice grass, nice landscape. Cliff views, bridge views. BUT, NO water views except at the boat launch. The shoreline is not cleared but grown up with trees, brush and grasses. Water views were obstructed even in front of a bench that had been installed near the shoreline facing the water. So, I don’t recommend the park if you want a closer view of the river to enjoy and relax.
