My family and I recently experienced the trip of a lifetime in Sri Lanka. It was a deeply meaningful journey, my husband returned after 30 years, I visited after more than 20 years, and it was the very first time for our young adult children.
To make the most of our time in our beloved motherland, I was recommended to contact Maithree, the owner of SS Lanka Tours, as I needed a reliable driver and a comfortable vehicle. I can say without hesitation, this was the best decision we made for our 10-day stay.
Maithree, personally coordinated our tour and ensured everything ran seamlessly from the moment we arrived. He, along with Ajith our driver and guide warmly welcomed us at the airport. Ajith was absolutely exceptional: punctual, knowledgeable, fluent in English, Sinhalese, and Tamil, and above all, incredibly hospitable.
He went above and beyond throughout our journey recommending hidden gems off the beaten path, sharing cultural insights, and even carrying our backpacks on long hikes so we could enjoy the full experience without worry. Along the way, he would stop at roadside stands so we could taste local fruits and enjoy the authentic flavors of Sri Lanka.
All of this came at a very reasonable price, delivered with a warm smile and a genuine desire to make our trip unforgettable. I wholeheartedly and confidently recommend Maithree and SS Lanka Tours to anyone planning to visit Sri Lanka you will be in the best hands!
