Yellow Rock Yoga Gozo的点评
点评：The bad bit- DO NOT book with Book Retreats*. These people/this company cannot/do not want to read; after getting my booking wrong I sent a message titled ‘Do not cancel’. I re-iterated this in the first line of the body of my email. THEY CANCELLED MY BOOKING, resulting in exchange fees on the initial/wrong booking and secondary fees when they cancelled the booking! Fees and more fees for their errors they refused to acknowledge/do anything about them.
THE BRILLIANT BIT - Monique & Norbert, an amazing duo of yoga instructors, each with their own, but overlapping, styles of several different types of yoga. Each closed at the end with a sung mantra.
My time in Gozo started with classes led by Monique, assisted by nightly reminders, weather reports, clothing suggestions and reminders for sun screen, when necessary. Whilst, in my head, these felt a bit tame for me - on reflection, they were truly wonderful and the breathing exercises I take away will be used again and again. Towards the end of my stay I had a couple of classes led by Norbert. The first very dynamic, the second slower but with strength behind the poses.
Sadly my time with Yellow Rock Yoga and Gozo is at an end and I feel a bit tearful. I didn’t expected to enjoy it as much as I did; having had some truly patronising and borderline bullying instructors in the past/UK, who left lasting impressions. But I am thrilled to find this is not the norm.
My only regret is having made a private booking* opportunities to do more with YRY were limited as I left it far too late.
