点评：David is the best guide I could found in a while in the world. His knowledge extends from mayan history to wild species (animals and plants), passing through food, languages, and Mexican recent history. We stayed together for the entire day because he drove us around the region to visit Calakmul pyramids, a biosphere and the bats cave. I loved every second of his company and I learned so much from him. At the end of the day I had the feeling I met a friend and I would be happy to support his work in any possible way: he keeps himself updated by buying lots of books, magazines, and articles, so that he can give you sources and references of what he is saying all along the visit. I really appreciate it, because often guides tend to be more storytellers than fact checkers. Thanks to his childhood in the jungle he can recognise any kind of tree around, tell you its properties and common uses. His superpower is to spot wildlife while driving a car. Things I could barely see with my eyers (needed to use binoculars) he could see from distance in motion. If you ever visit the region, contact him - you won’t be disappointed.
