点评：We were lucky enough to spend an entire day with David as our guide who took us for a walk through the jungle and the ruins of Calakmul. Within minutes his kind and funny personality made us feel totally relaxed and safe in his hands. He not only was our guide, he also organized a car, drove and picked us up at the hotel. David turned out to be extremely informative, enthusiastic and passionate about flora and fauna and its traditional healing powers. He is an expert in spotting animals that we would never have seen without him (rattle snake, howler and spider monkeys, crocodile, tarantula, toucan and many other exotic birds). There was not a question he left unanswered (and we had many questions).
In Calakmul David demonstrated huge knowledge and passion for Mayan history and guided us through the ruins in a way that deepened our understanding and was tailor made for our interests.
Overall the day spent with David was one we will never forget and so far the highlight of our trip to Mexico.
