Quite a unique experience.

点评：We sat on the upper deck where our meals were served in the warm sunshine watching life on the banks of the Nile pass us by in silence. The captain of our boat was the excellent Mr Salah who judged the winds that powdered the craft.
The food on board was excellent cooked by Mr Hamza who worked wonders on 2 gas rings, the 3rd member was crew was Mohammad who tended the sails and filled the water tank etc.
The lower deck was accommodation, consisting of a large open area covered with cushion fabric flooring and drop down curtains all around, with a boxed toilet and sink.
While this trip may seem wonderful there are drawbacks to be considered for example,
The faloucca is traditional as such some things are not what would be expected. Ie.
No hot water. No shower. No beds. No chairs. No table. No towels. and no headroom in the lower accommodation, making it necessary to stoop if walking or crawl, also limbo under the mast would be a helpful skill. There is electricity provided by solar power.
We are very pleased to have made the trip, thanks to the excellent crew and owner. but won't be repeating it any time soon.
