Amazing kayak tour into sea caves

点评：Do yourself a favor and book this kayak tour with Marco when you visit Flores. First of all, he is a wonderful person and rescheduled our kayak day when the ocean was more rough and did not allow for us to get the most out of the experience, even though that meant him not having business that day. He provided a tour for just my husband and I at the same cost of a group tour. He also was great to talk with during the tour answering all of our questions that we were curious about regarding the island and gave a locals perspective on growing up in the Azores.
You kayak south along the east coast of Flores. There are 3 distance options, & we chose the 2nd one. We went into about 7 caves where you mostly could not reach by a motor boat. It was surreal and peaceful; an experience you will always remember and likely cannot ever replicate as you float underneath huge rock structures in glowing blue water. You also have the view of the amazing coast along with waterfalls, some you can paddle underneath. Marco offered to stop to let us snorkel. We did not since it was cloudy and we planned to snorkel later that day. The tour is very customized to what you want which is different that bigger companies with a set plan.
I recommend bringing cash since he does not take cards. It was 70 euros for 2 of us taking 2.5 hours. Very fair.
