中央车站的点评
点评：Clean and functional, the station’s real glory is its architecture and decoration. This structure is worth a visit strictly for its beauty alone. As a civil engineer, I was quite impressed with the four levels of tracks through the atrium and the well-maintained riveted steel frame for the canopy. It’s worth seeing the interior and exterior in both the daytime and night.
Normal day-to-day functions of the building as a rail hub are acceptable. There are fewer shops and traveler amenities than you’ll find at Amsterdam Centraal or Gare du Nord, but more than enough for the typical traveler. I did find wayfinding to the adjacent Metro station after disembarking from a long-distance train to be more difficult than I expected; ending up outside at street level and then having to go back down to the metro station.
