点评：This is a beautiful place to experience nature in the city of Morgantown on the campus of West Virginia University. It is located just aside the Stadium. There is no admission charge. Parking is limited. The lot is small at the main entrance but we have never seen it completely full.. Bring your own water as there is none available and no rest room facilities. No picnic facilities. There are multiple hiking trails of easy to moderate difficulty. At the bottom of the hill. Most trails connect to the Monagahela River Rail Trail which at its eastern terminus connects to hotels, restaurants, bars and a parking garage. The most scenic trail in the Arboretum is the Cliffside Trail with beautiful rock formations and growths of rhododendron and mountain laurel. Don’t miss the paw paw trees in the parking area when you return to your car. Two hours here can give you an unrushed experience. Three hours are ideal if you want to explore more than one or two trails.
