点评：My husband and I booked a Canal du Midi cruise in the French countryside on the Johanna Somail barge-yacht. The booking process through Barge Lady Cruises was excellent. The yacht, which Captain Cowley designed and re-built, is a work of art - outstanding craftsmanship, design, and functionality seamlessly woven into an exceptional guest experience.
The Johanna Somail is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and spacious, including two guest bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, inside living and dining area, an aft covered terrace for outdoor dining, and another forward outside lounge area with hot tub (hot or cool). Each day we enjoyed cruising a few hours and then visiting the sights in the neighboring French communities. Tour guide Barry, a convivial guide with Canadian roots, shared villages, abbeys, and other local treasures. Ana, our warm and gracious hostess, anticipated our every need and greeted us with a refreshing drink each day as we returned from our day touring the area. Chef Marina’s onboard meals were worthy of Michelin stars. The cruise far exceeded our expectations, and we will cherish our week aboard the Johanna Somail yacht for years to come.
