Our Leashed/Tethered Dog Was Attached Twice During Our Stay

点评：We've gone to Beverly Beach for years and have enjoyed our stay. However, last week will probably be our last. We had to leave early from our recent stay because our dog was attacted 2 TIMES in 2 days. 1. I was walking my dog on leash to the main office from our site on the pavement and a dog on a site along the way started barking at us then broke it's tether-line and came out to attacked my dog. Dog's owner called the dog, which didn't go back to them so I finally pushed him off my dog. 2. The next day we were relaxing on our camp site and our dog was tethered to our picnic table (not able to go 6 feet from table). A couple was walking their pitbull on the pavement going by and their dog pulled loose from them, came on to our site and attacked our dog. Owner couldn't pull dog off very well and as a result, our dog was bitten and injured. The dogs owners said they were sorry and walked away. We never saw them again. Due to our dog's injury, we had to leave the park a day earlier than our reservation in order to go to a vet.
We didn't feel safe at this campground. I think there were more dogs in the park than people. Some sites had 2 or more dogs per site and not all were terethered. I talked to a person with a ranger shirt on and they told me if it happened again, to call the sherriff. My reply to him was that there isn't any cell service at the campground. He then said to fill out a report but we didn't have time as we needed to get our dog to the vet. Not sure what should be done, but as I mentioned, we're done with going to Beverly Beach when we go to the coast.
