Lovely Lazy Morning River Cruise
Huka Falls River Cruise的点评
点评：Nice and simple cruise down the Waikato, and to check out the Huka falls up close. The cruise itself was a pleasant if bare-bones cruise along the river, punctuated by brief explanations a few points of interest (wildlife and buildings, and info about the river more generally), explained by our captain/guide.
Whilst he was generally a nice and funny character (making a few quips throughout), there was also a slight air of disinterest that we did pick up on. (texting in quieter stretches of the river and even calling a company to book a tour of his own in his upcoming off days...)
Outdoor spaces were slightly limited for the demand, meaning we did end up having to sit indoors for majority of the journey to the falls. Visibility from our window was fairly good, but was a slight shame none-the-less. I understand that there was complimentary tea/coffee available, but this was never mentioned or offered during the tour.
On arriving at the falls we did multiple approaches, offering the chance to see form both front and back viewing platforms. Our guide encouraged the cycling of positions and happy to ensure all got chance to see form both spots, which was great.
