Lovely place, walks were poorly managed
High Lodge Thetford Forest的点评
点评：We went to Thetford Forest on the way back from a short break away. We hired mountain bikes (£25 each for 2 hours) and completed the red trail which was intended for people with a knowledge of mountain biking, (not that we particularly had this!!) and really enjoyed it! Had a lovely lunch at High Lodge as well, with a pork sandwich.
However, we tried to follow the yellow trail walk, which was meant to be 5k, but there were multiple places (when following the signs) that were blocked off, and said we couldn’t go there, due to cutting trees or something similar. There was no diversion for this route, and had to look at a map carefully to work out where we were going. When we found an alternative route, we were stopped by someone transporting trees, who told us we couldn’t pass, without suggesting any other route. We ended up walking a very long way, as we had to go far around to find an available route. Overall a good day out though.
