Avoid cafe food take picnic and it’s great

点评：Parking: £12.90 for 3 hours.
Food: For the third and last time we, we ordered some food to go along this time with our own picnic. Thank god we did. The food was disgusting. I went to tell a female member of staff who seemed to be supervisor that I was concerned they should check their tuna melt paninis as mine smelled and tasted as though it had really gone over. She was very rude, defensive and said they are dated for today and no one else has a problem. I replied I am just letting you know. The hot chocolate tastes like sugary water. I asked if they’d run out of powder and she said no, so I said the hot chocolate was like sugary water. I was told no one else has a problem with it.
Having worked at high lodge before I can say this is normal treatment for staff here. Seems the people either aren’t taken care of by their employers or aren’t happy to be there. Either way, it feels toxic and sad.
Stick to a picnic and Thetford is a wonderful day out.
