点评：Captain Casey's Island Cruises is one of the newer boat excursion companies on Chincoteague. And there are certainly plenty of them, all competing for the same views of ponies, birds and other wildlife. But Captain Casey is absolutely the best. He offers private tours on an immaculate, comfortable pontoon boat. You can book tours of varying lengths depending on your time and the amount you want to pay.
Casey is intelligent (teaches high school math), knowledgeable, cheerful, and polite. He truly gives the effort to making your trip enjoyable. Private tours are more expensive, but they are worth it because you can freely ask questions (Casey encourages that), tailor the tour to your interests and have a peaceful, relaxing ride without being squeezed together in the boat with rude, obnoxious strangers. My husband and I had never met Captain Casey before our booking, so this is an unbiased review. But we were very happy with our tour and we recommended him to others later that day. Casey, we were the couple on July 5th who stumped you with the question about Ibis nests and egg color (thanks for looking up the answer). For the best island cruise, book Captain Casey. And when you go on the cruise, ask him about the one o’clock island wind. One example of the trivia he gives you that we had never heard before.
