点评：I'd already climbed Andstabben on the other side of the lake. On the face of it, Tindstanden offers much of the same elements - lake Advatnet, views over A village and the coastal cliffs, but from a different perspective so I still think it's worth doing both if you have time. If you only have time for one, then I'd say Andstabben has better views of the cliffs, Tindstanden has better perspective over A, and the views over Advatnet are hard to call as they are both lovely but different perspectives.
It took me about 1.5hrs up and a little less on the way down. Did not see another person once I left the Munken/Makebu hut trail, so wonderful and peaceful walking.
I'd read of the exposure and drop offs at the top but I didn't find it too bad and was never worried. It was a very dry, clear, windless day though. Bit of mud and squelchy ground on the way up but nothing that couldn't be avoided easily enough.
A downloaded map via an app with GPS positioning would help, as its not easy to find the way particularly in the early stages. There are alternative routes at some places, including one place where some sketchy looking chains up and down some rock blocked the way, which you could get around but at the price of walking through a bog. Instead of this, I went back a couple of minutes and took a different alternative path which avoided this.
The view at the top is sublime. Light will work best in the morning.
I parked in the car park right by the start of the trail, which has a new payment machine where you can pay with international credit or debit cards (or VIPPS, if you have a Norwegian account)
