A Scenic and Flavorful Gem on Seneca Lake

点评：Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard is a standout experience in every sense. From the moment we arrived, the views of Seneca Lake and the winery fields set a breathtaking tone—serene, expansive, and perfectly matched to a day of exceptional wine tasting.
Their white wines are truly exquisite to my tastebuds. I especially recommend the Gewürztraminer and the Flower Day Riesling—bright, balanced, and bursting with character. The flavors linger long enough to make me contemplate a second pour… or a case, which we bought! Did not try the reds, but that was a personal choice. I imagine they are just as good to the right palate.
One of the unexpected highlights was the multilingual service. A heartfelt thank you to our delightful server for graciously accommodating our friends from Argentina with flawless Spanish. Her warmth and professionalism made everyone feel at home.
The tasting area, which I heard was expertly envisioned by a well known local designer. deserves its own applause. The space is thoughtfully crafted—modern yet inviting, with clean lines and just the right ambiance to make you savor the setting as much as the sips.
Wiemer Vineyards is a well-orchestrated experience that mixes world-class hospitality with natural beauty and superb wine. Can’t wait to return.
