Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel的点评
点评：My husband and I booked this trip as a family of 6 for our annual Christmas trip to the White Mountains. Our kids are ages 12, 10, 4 and 2. I was disappointed when we were unable to go dog sledding and got switched to the cart bc it rained after christmas and they lost some snow. I totally understand that this experience is subject to the dogs, staff and the weather conditions. Can’t plan everything! I wanted to write this review to help others booking their trips and say that the trip was still amazing!
There was snow on the trail, just not enough for the dog sled to navigate on. The cart did not feel like it took away at all from the dog sledding experience. The trail is beautiful and the views of the forest, streams and mountains are amazing. The dogs are really fun to meet at the beginning of the excursion. We enjoyed learning about the individual dogs and the breed, Alaskan Huskies. Everyone at the kennel was super friendly and helpful.
We did the mini mush which was perfect for our family. 3 rode in the cart on the way to meet our other 3 at the turn around with the cart, and we switched for the ride back. It was the perfect amount of time outside in the cold weather for the kids. The cart was actually higher from the ground than the sled and probably more comfortable for the kids also.
This was truly an unforgettable experience for us and the kids. For sure we will book this again in the winter, or another time of year when we come back to the area!
