Take An Afternoon Guided Garden Tour (1 Hour)

点评：We spent several hours here on VE Day and had quiet reflection sat in the courtyard at midday, listening to the trickle of water from the fountain , so peaceful!
As we walked through the historic house there were very few visitors so it was most enjoyable, we were able to take our time to enjoy each room.
At 2pm we enjoyed a guided tour of the gardens, there were only 4 of us and the tour guide, a very knowledgeable lady whose name I do not recall. My wife uses a walking stick and walks slow, our guide realising this told her she would not rush the walk and that it would be completed at her pace. She made our visit exceptionally pleasant and interesting, pointing out and explaining many things that we would not otherwise have seen, for example the ‘handkerchief’ tree!
I would highly recommend this hour long tour.
