点评:I'm leaving a review specifically for the cafe because it really deserves a mention. The museum was a lovely way to pass the time with older children but we had lunch in the cafe after which was an unexpected treat.
It had been recommended by a chap at the Moravian Settlement which we'd visited earlier.
We had soup and and a sandwich for £8 which was home made veg, lovely and chunky and delicious. And chose a chicken club on white barm for the accompanying sandwich. Our family had a mix of toasties and barmcakes, which all came with salad and crisp and which were *very* reasonably priced compared to most other places. They were hearty and tasted great. The milkshakes were thick and frothy.
We sat outside by the canal which was pleasant.
The young staff were really friendly and patient with our orders, there was quite a few of us and some were undecided.
Anyway, if you're visiting, or even in the area, this is a lovely little place to visit to replenish.
