点评:We booked the Venice to Pula 3.5 hour Venetia Lines ferry on 5 Sept which should have arrived by 20:00 hours. That day we received a message that the ferry was cancelled due to sea conditions and were offered a refund, or bus transportation to Pula. As there was insufficient time to seek alternate means of transport on such short notice without having to spend an extra night at a Venice hotel and lose a night's paid room in Pula, we accepted the bus offer. The bus took 5 hours, it had no toilet, and only made a 15 minute stop 1 hour into the trip, but was less than half full. We later found out that the sea conditions that day were NOT unfavourable to a ferry crossing. We are very sure that Venetia Lines cancelled the ferry not because of the poor sea conditions, but rather because it would have been unprofitable to make the crossing with such a small number of passengers. So, for the 140 Euros we paid for a 3.5 hour ferry crossing, instead we got a 5 hour ride on a less than adequate bus, when instead we could have taken a proper bus and only paid less than 55 Euros for a bus with a toilet. And because we arrived later than planned we had great difficulty in getting into our Air BnB apt. We felt ripped off by Venetia Lines. As other reviewers have said, this company seems to have become the new Pirates of the Adriatic. Buyer beware!!
