DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House的点评
点评：My partner booked this for my birthday treat. We went on Wednesday 19th March 2025. On arrival we were told the inside jacuzzi wasn't working, which was fine. But when going into the changing rooms I could hear women screeching and complaining as there was no hot showers just cold water. This was being worked on but did not get resolved during our time there. I didn't fancy a cold shower so had to wait until I got home (an hour away) in the changing room the hooks on the backs of the toilet doors have snapped off and not been replaced and found a random shrew sticking out that I nearly cut my wrist on. We used the steam room and swam in the pool. The hot tub outside can only fit 6 maximum, we were only able to use this briefly, as people spent long periods of time in there. After lunch 3 older men where in there for a long time and I chose not to join them. We then decided to leave early, which was a real shame. When leaving the lady on reception just took the key back with no eye contact or asking if we had a nice time. I'm assuming there must have been a lot of complaints! The only saving grace was the excellent customer service recieved by the staff in the restaurant and the food and coffee was great! Unfortunately, we will not be returning and will not recommend. I feel the spa is in desperate need up an upgrade, the photos must have been taken when it first opened as they do not represent what is currently there. Really disappointing, especially as it was a birthday treat!
