Incredible 3-Day Sampan Journey with Mango Tours – A Romantic and Authentic Mekong Experience

点评：We recently took a 3-day private sampan cruise with Mango Tours from Ben Tre to Chau Doc, and it was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully curated, relaxing, and full of authentic moments that gave us a deeper appreciation of life along the Mekong Delta.
Our guide, Diep, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. She went above and beyond to make our journey special, even creating an edited video of our trip, which became a beautiful keepsake.
The boat itself was stunning— clean, comfortably air-conditioned, and beautifully decorated. It had a romantic charm that made the experience feel truly unique and intimate. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout.
The food was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and diverse. We enjoyed local specialties like fresh water fish and shrimp, and even took part in a fun cooking class right on the boat.
Each day was filled with enriching activities—stopping at bustling markets, cycling through peaceful countryside, and visiting traditional villages. Every experience felt genuine and unhurried, allowing us to really connect with the places along the way.
On the final day, we were dropped off at the stunning Victoria Hotel in Chau Doc, nestled in the hills. The hotel was beautiful, with amazing panoramic views and a breathtaking sunset over the rice paddies—a perfect ending to our journey. It was also an ideal stop to relax before our smooth transfer to Cambodia the following morning.
If you’re looking for a romantic, immersive way to explore the Mekong Delta, we can’t recommend Mango Tours enough. This journey was everything we hoped for and more.
