点评：Take the city palace boat ride (not the municipal one), 2hrs before sunset, to jag mandir. Return with the 2nd last or last boat ride before sunset to see the sun being snuggled into the lap of the aravallis, that surround the lake Pichola. Jag mandir is aesthetically simple, and welcoming. It has excellent views of lake pichola abd usaipur’s palaces and forts.
Its also historic because shah Jahan had stayed inside the minor domed palace on the island, for a short tenure. The snacks and drinks are yummy, and the vibe is relaxing, and the atmosphere is classy and tasteful. Raveena Tandon got married here, so it’s worth visiting to see a destination wedding venue of a celeb. The staff is very busy, so you have to grab hold of them, and don’t let go of a table, once you get one.
