Incredible waterfall experience!
Catarata Del Toro的点评
点评：Absolutely loved our experience doing the Blue Falls/Catarata del Toro hikes! The combo ticket for all of the falls (del Toro at one location and the six Blue Falls locations at the other trailhead) is $25 per person and absolutely worth the price. We did Catarata del Toro first in the rain and it was a blast. Lots of steps, including cement steps and forest path steps. They have bamboo walking sticks at the gate to use for free, highly recommend grabbing one. We started the hike at 8:10 AM and made it to the base at 8:55 AM. After taking plenty of pictures at the bottom we hiked back up and arrived back at the gate at 9:35, so it was about an hour and a half total for Catarata del Toro. There were also TONS of benches to stop along the way to rest. Every good lookout point had a bench too.
Then you get back in your car and drive a minute to the Blue Falls entrance. Park and go through the gate, then walk for 15 minutes (gentle gravel paths, pass several cows!) to the Blue Falls trailhead sign and guide into post. A guide will take you to the Blue Falls trails and accompany you the whole time, our guide was Isaac and he was very kind and did a phenomenal job (excellent photographer too!). La Turquesa was closed, and the bridge for Las Gemelas was out so we forded the river holding onto a rope. SO FUN! The water wasn’t very blue because of the rains, but the waterfalls are still stunning and worth the trip!! You can do as many of those falls as you want. We chose not to do the final one (the first one on the sign) since we were so tired and it was only a look out. But the others were great and worth the hikes. From beginning at del Toro at 8:10 to finishing 4/6 of the Blue Falls hikes at 12:20, we took the four hours that I’d planned for and we didn’t rush. Blue Falls/del Toro combo has been one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip and I’d highly recommend it!! It’s a great price for the amazing views and experience. Also if you’re headed to La Fortuna after, stop at Soda De Pity (recommended by the guide at the Blue Falls info desk), the food was cheap and SO delicious!

之后回到车上，开一分钟就能到达蓝瀑布的入口。停车后穿过大门，再步行15分钟即可（道路为平缓的碎石路）。把几头牛牵到蓝色瀑布的步道入口处，然后由向导带路。向导会全程陪伴你走完蓝色瀑布的步道，我们的向导叫艾萨克，他非常友善，表现得也极为出色（还是个出色的摄影师呢！）。“La Turquesa”营地当时关闭了，连接“Las Gemelas”区域的桥也无法通行，因此我们只能抓住绳子蹚水过河。真是太有趣了！由于近期降雨，河水并未呈现出很深的蓝色，但瀑布依旧美得令人惊叹，绝对值得一游！！你可以随心所欲地游览那些瀑布。我们因为实在太累了，而且最后一个瀑布只是个观景点而已，所以决定不去了。不过其他的瀑布都非常棒，值得徒步前往。从早上8点10分从德尔托罗出发，到中午12点20分完成蓝瀑布景区中6条徒步路线中的4条，正好花了我事先计划的四个小时，整个过程也并不匆忙。蓝瀑布与德尔托罗的组合绝对是我们哥斯达黎加之行的亮点之一，我强力推荐哦！！以这样的价格就能享受到绝美的景色和绝佳的体验，实在物超所值。另外，如果你之后要去拉福图纳，记得去Soda De Pity用餐（这是蓝瀑布信息中心的导游推荐的），那里的食物价格实惠且超级美味！
