点评：They only take cash for suspicious reasons
I wanted to visit this Museum but was unable to. They only take cash not credit card. I didn't have any cash with me and didn't want to go to an ATM because I would have to pay ridiculous International fees. All businesses, including museums, Greece are required to accept credit cards.
I asked at both the gift shop and the cafe, and both eagerly told me that of course they take a credit cards. But the ticket office just 20 steps away refuses to.
So, despite my sincere desire to see this, I was unable to. They pretended that this was due to technical difficulties, but the sign announcing this has been up for years. You can tell it's old. They could easily get around this problem, if that were the real reason, by having QR codes and allowing people to buy tickets online or buy installing an app on the phone of the ticket taker.
So, I was very much disappointed by their behavior.
