Disappointing venue- needs to re-evaluate

点评：Came to see the comedian Paul Smith. THIS REVIEW IS NOT BASED ON HIS SHOW!!!! The comedy gig was fantastic… sadly the venue let it down. Have been to The Brighton Centre before but it has been a while so shocked at what we experienced.
Firstly-HUGE queues with only an hour to get inside and seated (plus frequenting the bar)! Wasn’t helped by the fact people were pushing in the queue throughout the length of the strip. Surely this should have had some security or something to prevent this?
There could have been more stewards to allow quicker access, as the number working did not help to lessen the queues and waiting times. Staff were lovely but must have felt pressured.
The bars!!!! Poorly staffed given the volume of customers! Two members of staff serving one person, with the pressure of 10 minutes to be seated before the start of the show. The lager was absolutely disgusting and £8 a pint!!!! As the bar closed after the interval (!!!!????) we bought two drinks each and asked for a cup holder. Cup holder was useless as cups didn’t fit and some beer was lost… which turned out to be a blessing!
There were limited other options ie: red, white or rose wine, a few spirits but mixers were all served from 2l bottles (aside from tonic water). Again given the venue, you would expect fizzy drink pumps and more on offer?
You could tell how disgusting the lager was because of all the full pints of it left after the show!
Credit to security who handled some issues extremely well!
Our experience would make us rethink seeing another gig/show/concert here based on the above reasons.
Given the number of professionals who visit Brighton, we are surprised that another venue hasn’t popped up with better facilities etc

其他选择不多，比如红葡萄酒、白葡萄酒、桃红葡萄酒，还有一些烈酒，但混合酒都是用2升瓶装的（除了汤力水）。考虑到场地条件，你还能指望有汽水泵之类的吗？
演出结束后，你就能看出拉格啤酒有多难喝！
感谢安保人员，他们处理一些问题非常出色！
基于以上原因，这次的经历会让我们重新考虑是否还会来这里看演出/演出/音乐会。
