Frustrating and disappointing evening NOT watching cricket

点评：We had a disappointing and quite frankly a miserable time at the St. Lawrence cricket ground last night trying to watching Kent vs Sussex. We had spent £90 on general admittance tickets for two adults, one older teenager (already classed as an adult apparently) and one younger teenager and headed to the Family/Alcohol-free area. There were clearly not enough available seats in this area for the number of people, so we joined other families standing or sitting on the grass. Unfortunately it was nearly impossible to actually watch any cricket due to the constant flow of people walking backwards and forwards past us to the bar, people stopping to stand in front of us blocking the view and people standing down at the pitch hoarding, completely blocking the view of the wicket. During the break some seats became vacant and we were happy to sit down, however, the view from there was pretty rubbish too as the rows are fairly level so it's hard to see round the person in front. Such a frustrating experience. Love watching live cricket but this was a complete waste of money and time. Will pay more for better seats next time - but perhaps that is what the organisers are hoping for??
