点评:This was one of those experiences where I walked in the Door and said, "Wow!". I have seen many amazing places throughout Italy, and this ranks right up with them. The Villa was built in the early 16th century for Agostino Andrea Chigi, a wealthy Sieneses banker who worked for the Pope. He had people paint Frescos in his Villa and one of them was Raphael. I was like, "if he only knew then, who Raphael would become." His Frescos is part of the "wow" when you walk in. The Frescos are paintings of the classical and secular myths of Cupid and Psyche, and the Triumph of Galatea. Those are just some of the outstanding frescos in the villa. The grounds across from the river are also a nice view to take in. I took two of my younger cousins who enjoyed the visit. To see a HS student and College student enjoy taking it in, made me realize that these impressive works can be enjoyed by all.
