When we arrived at our villa, there were no towels provided, so we had to call the receptionist to have them sent over. During dinner, we ordered three dishes, but it took over an hour for the food to be served. After waiting for 40 minutes, we followed up with a waiter who, without checking with the kitchen, simply said, “Oh, they’re preparing it now.” It’s hard to believe that fried rice and fried noodles would take that long to prepare. When we followed up again after another 20 minutes with a different waiter, we found out there had been a miscommunication, and our food hadn’t even been started. For context, the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. Unfortunately, the manager wasn’t very helpful in resolving the situation.
On a positive note, we really appreciated Arthur and Norranizah for stepping in. They were both very apologetic and did their best to make things right for us.
Pros:
The resort is lovely—clean, with sandy beaches and crystal-clear water. The staff were generally friendly, and there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
We hope our experience helps the resort improve!
