点评:We spent a very hot afternoon walking around the ruins and as much time again inside the museum, and both were fascinating.
The ruins are quite spread out so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. You're out in the open so, on a hot sunny day, wear a hat (and cover up/use SPF) and take a bottle of water as, once you go enter the area containing the ruins, there are no refreshment outlets (or toilets).
Make sure you leave enough time to look around the museum; I didn't think it would
take that long when I first walked through the doors but ended up running out of time as there was so much to see!
We visited in August when, given the historical significance of the site, I would have expected it to be packed with tourists, but it wasn't.
We spent a lovely day here immersed in history! We would definitely visit again if we were in the area.
