点评:I was a little worried by one of the reviews on here saying that the Gallery had been closed without warning as I had booked to stay in Parma especially to visit. I needn't have worried, I emailed the gallery and a kind lady replied immediately that the person must have visited on a national or religious holiday, and indeed when I visited everything was open as expected. There are lockers in the ticket office and the men working there were very helpful. The entrance to the gallery is through the Theatre, so you get a good view of that as well. The gallery is huge, and is one of those that guides you on a prescribed route through so you don't get lost. Leonardo's wonderful La Scapigliata is quite near the beginning, but there's an awful lot more to see here. My only gripe would be that there's not much seating to take a breather and I would have killed for a cup of coffee half way round. But it's so quiet I can imagine it's probably not cost effective to have a full-blown cafe, but I guess that's the trade off of having some world class art pretty much to yourself.
