海德堡学生监狱的点评
点评：I think this student jail is unique. I certainly don't know of any other. To be fair there is not a great deal to see, however I think it is worthwhile.
Basically students who misbehaved were given a few days incarceration to think about their bad behaviour ( and sober up I suspect!).
You climb the stairs and there are a couple of rooms and some iron framed beds. Oh and the graffiti! Actually I think this place is all about the graffiti, both from the tourists visiting and from the students who got themselves locked up to add to the artwork. They obviously never heard the old lags legend that if you write your name in a jail cell then you are destined to return to rub it out! I don't know if that happened to these young men, (and they would have all been men), but in the end getting sent here became a rite of passage. Students got themselves sent here deliberately. At that point the jail was closed.
So that's it, if it interests you then it is definitely worth seeing, but don't go expecting too much.
