点评:There’s so much to see here and it’s well worth the longish bus journey or taxi ride to get here from central Porto. Impressive exhibitions in the main museum - we saw a very powerful collection of re-sewn fabrics by Mounira Al Solh, from the Lebanese civil war. and a huge and personal photographic exhibition by Zanele Muholi - and then there’s still a huge parkland area around the main building, used to display some large and very striking sculptures, and also well worth a couple of hours strolling round anyway. Highlights include the extraordinary bright pink art deco villa, the treetops walk (sadly closed for repair when we were there) and the large and peaceful lake. Reasonably popular, not crowded, a great contrast to the buzz of the city centre, and for us a must-see.
