Nice first time experience

点评：Played here for the first time and really enjoyed the course. Some green grass was starting to show in the fairways and they will probably be nice in a couple of months. Right now most of the grass is still dormant so the grass isn't thick yet. Some very dramatic downhill shots, but I thought the uphill holes just went uphill moderately. Greens were in very nice shape except one par three there was a small section at the very edge of the green that was filled with sand, and the last hole had some poa anna in it but it didn't effect my putt of 20 feet. The greens were large but I didn't think there was too much slope in any of the greens you just had to hit it to the correct portion of the green. Generally it was only two sections on the greens you had to hit to, unlike UGA which has 3-4 sections a green. And to top it off, there was someone to clean our irons after the round. Not as good of a deal pricewise as Arrowhead point over at Lake Russell but that is a state park. But, it is in line or slightly on par with the other nice public courses. I would certainly play here again
