Elmley National Nature Reserve - Day Visit的点评
点评：This was our second time staying here. We had a great experience last year, so came back expecting more of the same, but left feeling pretty let down.
The setting is beautiful and peaceful, no doubt. But we paid £237 for one night and came away covered in bites, especially on our faces. We expected bugs, we were in nature and brought repellent and spray, but this felt excessive. The cabin ceiling was full of bugs and spiders, and we’re still itching days later.
The outdoor bath was one of the reasons we booked again, but it was full of bird mess and floating debris. We couldn’t use it. I’ve since seen reviews mentioning the same thing, so clearly it’s a known issue that hasn’t been fixed. Even a basic cover would help.
The indoor shower wasn’t much use either unless you wanted to get your hair soaked. In the end, we left early just to go home and clean up.
No response to an email we sent beforehand asking about the massage or drone use. It also felt a bit off that snacks like crisps were £2.50, and there was no decent coffee available with breakfast, just a cafetière in the room.
