Great experience all round except Santa’s grotty grotto

点评：Well I was highly impressed that Denbies contacted me to advise that tickets were opening for the Santa train ride back in October. So for the first time I managed to get tickets for my friend and her two little girls.
The train ride was a perfect length for two young ones and the staff from elves to Santa were excellent.
Also, the gift, and drink and cake treat available with the train ticket were excellent. As I might add was the children’s meal (not included in ticket but what we bought prior to the tour). This was excellent value and included perfect choices for children.
The older child in our group loved the passport to be filled in on the way up to Santa where she filled in all the reindeer signs.
However, personally I thought that Santa sitting in a pale green nylon gazebo with a few lights strung on it, and the lack lustre tree and animals wasn’t exactly Santa’s grotto! Honestly everything else was so perfect but this was tacky. I’m sure it could be presented in a much better way!
Maybe children don’t notice but it didn’t feel right.
10/10 for everything else
